No debt ceiling plan of their own.
No budget for well over 800 days.
No leadership from their President.
No jobs.
No economic growth.
It seems the only thing Democrats are capable of these days is doing nothing. And killing any and every idea that comes from Republicans.
And whining. A lot!
See, the Republicans learned some hard lessons in 2006 and 2008. And like the Republicans in the aftermath of the 2006 defeats, the Democrats are in denial after their 2010 spanking. Republicans continued to make the same mistakes in 2007 and 2008 that had caused the huge defeat in 2006. And the voters told Republicans in 2008 they were done. Hit the showers. We want Democrats. You have made a mess of things.
So President Obama and the Democrats were given carte blanche to fix the mess the country was in.
But rather than fix it, they have made things worse in their quest for absolute and eternal power. A wholly unpopular ObamaCare bill was shoved down the throats of a public overwhelmingly against it. Stimulus money was handed out to the hand picked “winners” as defined by the Obama Administration. This money went to unions who produce competitively overpriced, shabby goods and companies that produce “green” technology with price tags so high their products are not viable in the marketplace. And to make them viable, the lefties have stifled any and all competition. Oil, coal and natural gas have been attacked, sending energy prices sky high in the hopes of forcing Americans to buy expensive (and toxic) light bulbs and cars that they don’t want.
I want it and I want it NOW is the new call of the left. Without the patience to allow the private sector to develop cost competitive alternatives at a natural pace, the rush to force these things down the collective throats of America has predictably backfired and the result is high unemployment, inflation and massive national debt.
Americans have grown weary of waiting for Obama and the Progressive Democrats to fix the problem, but all they see is a doubling down on the failures.
There is not one single aspect of life in America that has improved under the Obama regime. Not one!
Projecting blame has become an art form with the Democrats. The Boogie Man George W. Bush has been replaced by Boogie Man 2.0 – The Tea Party.
Bush was castigated and demonized while president for out of control spending, wars and not listening to America. Progressives are loathe to admit it, but Obama has committed every “sin” his predecessor did by a multiple of three.
Along comes the “unreasonable” TEA Party who is demanding that all sides in Washington act like adults. Don’t spend more than you take in – and you already have a large enough allowance. The Democrats are kicking and screaming and pretending they are the adults! It is both amusing and disgusting at the same time.
Obama has been given a free pass from the beginning. His flaws have been ignored, his inability to lead has been swept under the rug.
But the one thing that cannot be hidden from the public (for long) is the results of the most inept man to ever hold the office of president.
The new Democratic Talking Points are challenging the fact that Obama has failed to lead on the debt ceiling “crisis”. But he has exhibited exactly the same behavior in every crisis America has faced since his election.
Obama spent weeks in silence while oil spewed in the Gulf, and his minions claimed he was “engaged”.
He sits silently while the Senate fails to produce a budget.
He sat silently for months before acting on Afghanistan.
He sat silently as protestors nearly brought down the regime in Iran.
And the list goes on and on.
And the poll number reflect the ineptitude of this president and the delusional state of mind of his followers and apologists, which are the same thing.
It is time for the media to stop covering up for Obama. The Constitution gave the press enormous freedom to tell the truth. Democracy works best in the light. While the Mainstream Media neatly hides the President’s many flaws, their failure to cover has resulted in Obama’s failure as President. He has had no reason to work harder as the friendly media will make things up to see their boy elevated.
But they are not elevating Obama, they are lowering America to give the illusion Obama is on a pedestal.
